Dr. John Seibyl, MD
Dr. John Seibyl, MD serves as Chairman of the Board, President of the Institute, Co-Benefactor and Senior Scientist. Dr. Seibyl trained as a post-doctoral fellow in Psychiatry and Nuclear Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and served as Chief of the Section of Nuclear Medicine at Yale. He then went on to co-found, the non-profit Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders where he is currently Board Chairman and Distinguished Scientist. He is also the co-founder of Molecular Neuroimaging, LLC now Invicro, LLC, a Konica-Minolta Company. Dr. Seibyl has won numerous grants and contracts in the context of his work in brain imaging, publishing over 250 articles, book chapters, and case reports. More casually he writes short prose, poetry, bikes, runs, and advocates for people (himself included) with Parkinson's.
